That was really annoying. The most moaning fans in the history of moaning fans. I thought Bradford had the title of the most monotonous fans in the world but Wakefield have just smashed that title. Is it something in the waters in Yorkshire that makes every pass forward?

Also giving Gareth Hock stick when he went off the field injured was disappointing, especially after what has happened to the club recently.

Never known the Wakey fans in that mood. They literally called forward for 80% of our passes and spent the vast majority of their time whinging.

Suppose thats what raised expectation brings.

I noticed few Wigna head highs which went un-noticed they were blatant too. Ala Snitch in first half. Wigan players offside most play balls. But I guess you saw that for Wakey too

Fielden is still looking for the top of his head after Sculthorpe swung it off near the end of the game yet that went un-punished!

The ref had no bearing on the result today whatsoever apart from if anything giving Wakey a helping hand the majority of the time.

I think i must have been one of only a few to find that quite funny! Good turn out from Wigan fans and a good laugh too

They mentioned it on the radio when we got back to the car so there must have been something in it.

i did the wakey walk on 75 mins cause im on night turn now so needed get back to st.helens was funny listening to wakey fans walking out i even heard 2 wakey lads say we must be the worst fans in super league for moaning lol forward forward i even had wakey fans shouting forward an they was stud behind the stick s an the play was other end how the f@ck can you tell a forward pass from there

Which I have posted. Like I said you cianed us down Blanch wing today and he is normaly solid in defence.

Well Thaler had to warn you many times but did not have the balls to do anything!

Had the balls to keep penalising us for exactly the same offences he was letting you lot get away with!

We seem to get penalised more often then the Wakefield side so he must have been clamping down on us to a point.

He seems very inconsistant with his reffing Thaler. When we played Saints recently he didn't want to give any penalties unless you tried to kill somebody whereas today he was all over us early doors.

Maybe it's his inconsistancy that annoyed Morgan so much.

Let's face it he missed lots from both teams today!

He is garbage and is very inconsistent! Not suprised way Morgan had a go at hime now!

Don't beat yourself up about it. It gets boring after a while...

TBH i normally am a fan of Thaler and think he lets a game flow but today he seemed abit fussy early doors and then not fussy enough after it.

It was a strange game overall and he played his part i thought.

I'd have taken a defeat today for a win in the cup so it's going to be game on in that one.

I think it's the game both clubs will really want to win and i'd expect there to be alot more intensity to it.

Just hope my dad gets in as he gave his challenge cup ticket in today and left his league ticket at home

Enjoyed the banter with the Wakey fans in the away end today, mainly good-natured with a few joke "Fooooorwards" thrown in



They were streaming for the exits well before the end though

If Wakey fans want to dish out the "wigan walk" stuff then they'll have to take it, can't have it both ways.


Wigan were far better today and deserved the win, i don't blame Thaler or the players or the coach for this, i just put it down to RL and not turning up on the day.
