| I would stick with Bailey, he offers experience and our pack looks stronger in defence with him on the pitch. Bailey does the dirty work that doesn't get noticed enough.

Well if you read my post before that you will see how i mentioned he hits the line really hard, and off some good ball handling by Barrett last year he scored some cracking trys, and i dont see why he cant make up the same partnership with Smith.
Now tell me what Bailey offers in attack, well theres umm.....ermm.....ohhhh that time in 2006 when he scored the winning try against leeds! Woo!

Did you not watch the Catalan game? he ran his blood to water.
Everyone seems to be avoiding the Bailey issue, in Hansen we have - ok someone whos not been on top form this year but we know what he can do - we can only give him a chance, its not like we will lose anything playing him over Bailey. But we could gain a good line breaker if he clicks with Smith.
Bailey was only better for the team before we had more than one good , so if things went tits up with Goulding/Pryce/Phelps he could fill in and be steady. Now we've got Gleeson i dont think his performances justify his place in the team, just my opinion.
Now i've said all this its actually quite likely he will go on and score 3 long range amazing trys against saints and single handedly win the game for us

| McIlorum was outstanding for the reserves on Saturday and BN was there at Belle Vue to witness his performance.
He'll be in next week, for sure.

We are a better team at the moment when Bailey's on the field. I like Hansen and yes I can see he does a similar Job, But for Me Bailey at the moment.

| If nothing else McIlorum has punishing defence that hurts people and in a derby thats a handy weapon.
I'd have no problem in him coming in as a straight replacment for Riddell if he's injured allowing us to keep using Sam from the bench where he's making great impact.

| Blessing.
Just like how Hansen was injured. Has anyone missed him? No.
And no one will miss Piggy when we field a team of:
Phelps/Richards
Roberts/Richards Gleeson Caromont Ainscough
Tomkins Smith
Fielden Tommy Coley
Hock Bailey
Lockers
----------
Feka Prescott McClorum Tomkins

I'm more inclined to share your concern over Piggy than Hansen. Hansen is a squad filler on a modest deal whereas Piggy is likely to be a much bigger earner in an key position.

He's better than McCollorum, he'll be missed if not playing.
Whether he's worth a Quota spot or the money he is on (Whatever that is) is a different subject.
He's our best starting 9.

If Tommy was to feature at 9 more he's be clearly better.
Tommy during the world cup was class at 9, far better to Piggy.

In your opinion.
I was there and although I felt he Played very well I wouldn't go as far as saying he was "World Class"!
If he played there domestically & internationally and performed to that level for more than 1/2 dozen games (A full season at starting 9) then I may change my mind.
Do I feel as a club we should be using him at 9 increasingly, certainly.
At the moment would I start him there? Not if Piggy is fit, move him in there for 10-15 mins either side of half time certainly!
If the Pig isn't fit then Yes, use Tommy there more, but that is more a reflection on McCollorum than Riddell.

Riddell is an average no.9 Who by no means could have kept up with the pace of the world cup final. He can't really keep up with SL nevermind WC level.
I never said Tommy was world class, just better than Riddell.

I wasn't there, although I'm not sure what bearing that has on the validity of my opinion. I thought he was world class. Unless your definition of world class isn't being able to mix it (and better) the best in the world in which case I'd be interested to hear exactly what your definition is?
