My preferred choice!

Shaun Wane is part time at Wigan and from my understanding he has a decent job so he may not want to take a full time role at Wigan. Besides, no one can spell his name properly



I'd like Mal Meninga just to watch the Saints forum go into melt down.

So we have a reserve team coach who's part time? Doesn't that just about sum up the entire situation?

I really cannot understand this at all. As much as I respect the work he has done, and continues to do, he has no exdperience at all of the full time running of a RL club.

Is it a full time role though? Most of the lads are at college so they can't train during the day so he'd be sitting around twiddling his thumbs.

Don't let that stop the rumours though. He did after all coach the team for the Bradford game.

I think the problem is more than just the coach. I agree Noble is not taking us forward but I do think we could have the best coach in the world, whoever that is at the moment, and we still wouldn't be challenging Leeds/Saints at the top.
For me, too many of the 1st team squad are just not good enough and we need a major overhaul of the squad. And this will not happen overnight unfortunately.

This has been the problem for the past 3/4 years. Noble has been bringing in his own players to change the squad but most of them have been mediocre. surely it's his fault? Part of me wonders what the scouting system at Wigan is like? Perhaps they could borrow the scouts from the football team - at least they seem to be able to spot a bargain...
