We get the same thing from the Huddersfield Town fans yet, infact the Giants are the reason they are in Division 3. They also blame Ken Davy who saved their club from administration a few years back.
The blinkered views these footie fans/commentators have is amazing - we don't go round kicking hods out of ground and I am yet to see damaged grass from the uncontested scrums we have!

Shaun Custis, the Sun's football reporter was on Radio Five yesterday, he commentetated on Wigan Athletic doing well considering Wigan is and always will be a rugby league town.
Football is definitely second in the nation's perception of Wigan.
