Saw Wayne Godwin in Wigan yesterday, rumour has it on the Bulls board he would struggle to get into the first team with them having L'Estrange and Diskin.

He's still good mates with a few of the Wigan players (Hansen in particular) so was probably meeting up with them.

Wigan made a BIG mistake a few years back keeping Higham and releasing Godwin.

The BIG mistake was replacing Newton with Higham.

highams game is one dimensional but hes still a more effective player than godwin. i liked godwin cos he was a grafter for us but higham was the better player.

I disagree, I thought Godwin's game matched Higham's. MH was just that half-a-yard quicker.

I'd encourage younger players to go to Aus ... so long as there is something in the contract to bring them back to us in a couple of years.

I'm not part of this crowd who feel that sending all our best players to Aus permanently is the future of British RL.

As things are, the domestic game is just as important, if not more so, than the international game. Losing all our best players, to the NRL as well as RU, could be a death-knell for the decent sized crowds that the top clubs currently enjoy.
