Yes l be watching the repeat too,Powell is in the same boat as Watson last year he needs time to get his side together but I suppose the giants backed Watson to bring the players in he wanted as we know wire insist on signing stars and see how they go.

Wires problem & I've said this for a while - they are a bunch of mercenaries. For all the BS guys like Williams give i.e "I want to win the league with them", they are there for the money and that's it. Who's the local lads who they turn to drive the standards?

The whole clubs needs a change of ethos for me. The two try scorers today are the future but need to start being the present as well. Every hole is filled with an external signing first and foremost and it’s rare they’ll ever trust a player to step up. They’ve also got so much money tied up on the two halves it’s unbelievable. They might not cost a lot on the cap but there still must be a budget they work to and you can have two of the best halfbacks off all time paired up but if there’s a lack of punch in the middle, it becomes pointless.

Yeah that's pretty much how I see it too. Not sure if the two young lads are elite players, but it won't matter as we'll never know. Wire love to go for the next big thing/hype job that's knocking around SL instead. They then overpay for said player and it just all starts again. I'd love to know how much they paid Lineham before he left & likewise, how much Charnley is on now. I bet it's is/was well over what it should be for a winger.

We have the backs but we start slow in all games !

He did but it’s clear he’s got players he can’t trust and unless the board backs him totally they’ll limp along as they are,he does bring youth through so that’s not the issue but buying players such as Williams,Widdop etc without looking at the bigger picture seems to be Warrington issue.

Time for the board to back Powell it seems to me he’s got a job on his hands for sure

Wakefield have looked a good side over the last few weeks. They should be challenging for the playoffs on paper IMO - tough, sizeable forward pack, dangerous outside backs and with Lino really starting to come good they have a lot of potential.

Will be a hard close game in a fortnight.

On the crowd - tough times for the Challenge Cup. Let's hope 'Rugby League Commercial' and IMG can come up with some solutions.

Seriously glad we got through to play you guys you will start as faves and rightley so but im sure if we are on our game we can give you a fright esp if we can go injury free next weekend as we are light in backs at moment.not disappointed to read on here tommy L will be out wouldnt mind field joining him too looks quality does that lad.

It's looking like a tough game. I don't think we have the best record at Belle Vue at the best of times and we'll probably be minus Tommy, Ellis and KPP on top of French/Thornley only just back (if back at all). We can cover most of those losses but Tommy will be a miss as he's in good form. No doubt like yourselves, just hoping for a clean bill of health from next week's match. Not seen today's game yet but your guys looked good last week and Lino in particular seems a handful. Looking forward to it.

Yeah, agree with that. I was chatting to a NZW fan on an NRL site the other day, talking about the game, and he was saying he always liked Lino, and couldn't understand why the Warriors didn't keep hold of him.

It should be a cracking game, hopefully a decent crowd if the Wakefield public get off their backsides and get down to BV as Wigan always bring a good

Why didn’t Fafita play yesterday? I must admit when I saw he was absent I thought that would tip the game Wires way. If him and Johnstone are back for our tie I’d put it as a real 50/50 game.

He was injured, not sure if he will be back for the cup game or not, TJ should be back Sunday.

Tough draw, as stated before the Wire/Wakey game our recent record at Wakey doesn't exactly inspire confidence

Good to hear that about Johnstone. I feared another extended spell out with it being another head knock. Let’s hope it’s his last issue now before the World Cup. If it is I expect he’ll make the squad and the team.

First part of the tackle was fine just got clumsy as he held on was always going to get a ban so one match will do I suppose

Good news that he didn't get more and will be available for the quarters.

Watched the game this afternoon. Wakey were a bit sketchy in defence early on, and had some narrow escapes before being cut open twice. But from half-way through the first half onwards, they looked the better side. They certainly looked like they wanted it more, from 1-13, and they had the skill set to make the scores to win. Lino is a player who takes a few risks, but most of them came off, and he was terrific, well supported by Miller, who apart from one awful kick in the first half, was good too. I think the commentary were right to praise Widdop for his effort in defeat, but few of his team-mates were near that. Looking forward to the tie now.

The cup seems fated for me,Sunday is a day I'm working trying to get a swap but not hopeful and the day of the semi finals we are away oh well nothing you can do hehe
