My mum works in Orrell laundrette and was moaning cause someone had left a load of Warrington shirts with 'Gleeson-3' on the back. She says they were supposed to be picked up last Saturday.

I got told by someone who would know that there is a press conference booked for...... Monday morning at the JJB (refuse to call it DW) and that Gleeson won't play this weekend.

As the squad for Sunday is already published and Gleesons name isn't on it their info could be correct.

I've also just realised the significance of something else they said having just read the report in the guardian on line - they also said "he won't play on saturday", which didn't mean much at the time but means a whole lot more now.

It doesn't say it in the web report - but the person who told me he's signed said he won't play on saturday which I didn't really understand the significance of but now I know it means he won't be cup tied. Also told me goulding and mathers going the other way (prays).

A key indicator will be if he plays tomorrow.

Dont know about that, would think a rest for this game would be in order.

heard gleeson is registered as a Wigan player and the hold up is that Goulding doesn't want to leave

That is it now officially every 'source' I have has now told me Gleeson has signed for Wigan.

Just had a phone call informing me that Gleeson is officially a Wigan player.

Not a Wigan player until he is listed in the First Team squad on the website.

They said that on Radio Manchester at about 8.15 tonight and that he was signed in time to play Sunday and also said more information would follow however nothing more was said. They might have been told to wait until the club officially announces it will have to wait and see what happens.

Announcement dfeinitely tommorow?
