theres a huge ncp car park about 100 yards from the south stand side of the ground it costs £2.20 for all day so thats quite good

They put the prices up to about 4.50 on match days. Or at least they do on Fridays as I drive up tanners lane on my way home from work and see the crafty urchins changing the prices. Still an easy and convenient place to park though. As for drinking usually go Lower Angel, Railway Club, Lord Rodney. Always a pleasure in each. Agree the Landlord in Rodney is a character but on all fairness singing wa#@y Warrington in his pub is out of order. Plenty of good natured banter without that.

It's £4 on match days. Plenty of space on there but it's a pain getting out after the match. And watch out for parking in the side streets as some of them are for residents only (Generally the closer ones off Orford lane).

Good place to park is just off Tanners lane.

The car park is there on the left. The railway club and the Kings arms are just next to it. Its right next to the ground and a sparrows fart away from town.

I've been to Warrington this afternoon and met loads of traffic on Winwick Road because one lane was closed so my advice is to set off early.

Or go down to the next junction on the M6 and come in via the A57 (Manchester Road)

They've only been closing the lane between summat like 9-4 Monday to Friday for Road works - Outside those hours it's been fully open.

Getting the train from Earlestown into bank quay and then off to the weatherspoons at the top of the road, should be in there for 10.30

Those of you who prefer cask ales should give The Tavern a try. It is situated at the bottom of Church St, adjacent to the roundabout, just past Cockhedge.

i wouldve thought anywhere with sky pal, theres nothing else really on sky at that time.... its OK pubs that might be a problem in Warrington
