I feel immense pride every time I go to Old Trafford. After all, it's one of the finest and largest grounds in the country and it's home to the biggest club in the world, the most successful in England in the last 20 years and the club that every other in the country would love to be. I've been lucky enough to be there from more humble roots in the mid-80s and watch OT and United go from strength to strength. And remember, people hate United for many of the same reasons they hate Wigan.

It's all the better when I get to watch RL there, of course.

It looks like they have played safe n choosen small venues. are the RFL scared of taking games to bigger stadiums i think 38000 at COM is better than a 23000 at JJB and why is the austalia v NZ game at the stoop when on the ticket page for stadium plan it shows there only opening 3 stands,when this was at loftus rd a few years back it drew quite a good crowd there cant remember what crowd.

They are shtalking about using the sholympic Shtadium in sholondon for test shmatches after 2012.

One advantage of supporting us is that you wont have to suffer that feeling too many times mate

i remember a few seasons ago i went to the JJB to watch gb vs australia. AMAZING atmosphere

Got our tickets for the game against Australia, East stand as usual

just one question will wigan get any reciepts from the game or does it all go to whelan?
other than that i like the jjb i thoroughly enjoyed the last international against the kiwis

The JJB is brilliant when full, but its only ever full for Latics v United and Wigan v Saints every other Good Friday. Oh, and GB v Australia!

I imagine it will all go to the stadium company as that is who the RFL is doing business with. So yes it will go to Whelan.

Brilliant that one is @ the JJB, but a bit of a shocker they coudnt convince Hull to play ball.

Relaunch an old thread but apparently the JJB test will be an afternoon 2:30pm kick off. So you'll still be able to trick or treat at night!

Was supposed to be played at the Kc, but they wouldnt guarantee the date because they didnt know what would be going on with the football season, so they ended up having to ask the JJB who said that they would guarantee the date, and inform Latics that the groud would be unavailable that day...

We used to play them at places like Wembley when Edwards was sent off for taking Clyde's head off for example. There was about 65000 people on that day. Have watched GB at places like Elland Road as well.

Somehow we lost ether the will or the ability to take such games to big stadia.

The Aussies only played at club grounds when playing the clubs as on their tour.

We will never grow as a bigger game if these games are in the m62 corrider we needed to take a game to the midlands with a afternoon kick off i did mention this when the fixtures came out.

If it was marketed properly we could have it at a bigger stadium.

I love the Aus games the the JJB though they are an amazing atmosphere.

Just looked on the englandrl website and there looking for a sponsor for the 4 nations who do you think we should get ( hope they dont get put off when reading this.)
