I imagine it would be a great laugh, and i've already commented on how good your fans were at the weekend, work at a pub outside of the town, and had to shoot off about 15 mins before the end to start my shift, was speaking with loads of wigan fans that night and had some cracking banter with them too. I'm not judging those of you that are there so support your team in a great way, just pointing out that i noticed an idiot who will give you a bad reputation when he's dressed intimidatingly stood right in front of your flag.

If it had been a warrington fan, then i'm sure wigan fans would have been quick to comment also, and rightly so.

Cant believe what I am actually reading, some people need to get a grip big time. Since our Ultra secene really took off (please dont edit this and put "Brigantes" its still an Ultra scene) we have had no bother with any fans of any clubs and nothing but praise from football clubs across Europe and this country via email/facebook/youtube. It started off with 14 of us on a coach to Barrow in a friendly and has now expanded to around 200/300 regulars making a cracking atmosphere at every game. The days of people taking the mickey out of Wigans support are well and truly over, our younger generation of fan will grow up with a completely different attitude of view on supporting the club. We may take a fair bit of stick from other teams fans for what we call ourselves but no stick or name calling has stopped us achieving our goal, we are attracting faces I have rarely seen at games in the past and the group seems to expand every week.

The idea was to 'enhance' the atmosphere not argue over it. Black, white, purple, old, young, fat, thin, sit, stand, shout, clap, sing wah wah wah its all about our love of the game, right??

I wasnt stood near the main group of singers on Saturday, but I can tell you there werent any old grannies or many young kids near me pal. There was alot of faces Ive not seen for a long time at an away game, mostly blokes in the their 20-40's.

You where doing really well until this point....if some fans want to chant that, be it limp wristed or not, who the hell are you to comment?

For what its worth, ultras/brigantes or whatever it is you call it this week is a great thing IF controlled....you have the idea that you want to make it as intimidating for the opposing fans, but at the HKR away game this season you made it intimidating for some of your own fans, setting flares off etc.

Keep up the good stuff, but dont get all high and mighty if people A) dont follow what you do B) decide they want to do there own thing.

Well it certainly wasnt the size!!

It wasn't a pop at our fans, it was worded wrong, I meant when away fans take the mickey singing "wigan, wigan, wigan" and make the "limp" hand gesture at us.

Meaning the days of opposing fans taking the mickey out of Wigan's support has gone.
