Where have i condoned the rubbish behaviour of some of our fans, i dont' agree with it. But it seems that you are quick to moan about trouble when it happens, but not so happy to listen when someone raises concern as to a member of your fan unit provoking such behaviour with his clothing. Some of you can see why it would be reason for concern, obviously the rest of you are too biased to think anything like this could happen at wigan.

Also, someone was quick to say they werent wearing a wigan shirt so not a wigan fan, but alot of those idiots outside the kings head arent wearing warrington colours, so how can you be sure they were our fans, not just lager louts out for a fight after seeing the local rivals beat us. Also, i notice there is no-one fighting but just standing outside a pub?

What alot of people don't see is the Brigantes/Ultras whatever you want to call it was started by a group of fans who wanted to bring a better atmosphere to our games and through sheer hard work and determination are making that happen.

Alot of work still goes on behind the scenes and away from games to look after the flags, put them up take them down, sort it out, official meetings, unofficial meetings, alot of folk forget this and think its all about a p**s up at the game and jump on the band wagon.

Keep jumping and singing and waving cos it's ace just lets not forget there is more to it than that.

The police car in the pic and the the policemen and dogs in the King's Head area I saw upon leaving the ground would suggest the police at least were worried about trouble and were taking preventative action. Anyway, carry on trying to deflect criticism away from Warrington, you're doing quite a good job.

Answer to point one, the south stand, which is full of warrington fans including myself, is located next to the stand in which you were in, which made it pretty easy to spot this mug with his ski mask.

A suggestion of trouble between two rival supporters, surprise surprise, police turn up at all sorts of things to prevent trouble, doesn't mean there was any.

I am just using the same spin doctor tactics you've been applying to anything i said, and it seems you don't like it when the shoes on the other foot. I do not condone ANY violence or threat thereof, whether it be from so called warrington fans, or so called wigan fans. Seems you're only bothered if it is a warrington fan that is making the accusation, pretty sure if a wiganer had raised this issue you would all be saying how terrible it is in our game. sorry mate, i would but i can't. I imagine it would be a great laugh, and i've already commented on how good your fans were at the weekend, work at a pub outside of the town, and had to shoot off about 15 mins before the end to start my shift, was speaking with loads of wigan fans that night and had some cracking banter with them too. I'm not judging those of you that are there so support your team in a great way, just pointing out that i noticed an idiot who will give you a bad reputation when he's dressed intimidatingly stood right in front of your flag.

If it had been a warrington fan, then i'm sure wigan fans would have been quick to comment also, and rightly so.

Cant believe what I am actually reading, some people need to get a grip big time. Since our Ultra secene really took off (please dont edit this and put "Brigantes" its still an Ultra scene) we have had no bother with any fans of any clubs and nothing but praise from football clubs across Europe and this country via email/facebook/youtube. It started off with 14 of us on a coach to Barrow in a friendly and has now expanded to around 200/300 regulars making a cracking atmosphere at every game. The days of people taking the mickey out of Wigans support are well and truly over, our younger generation of fan will grow up with a completely different attitude of view on supporting the club. We may take a fair bit of stick from other teams fans for what we call ourselves but no stick or name calling has stopped us achieving our goal, we are attracting faces I have rarely seen at games in the past and the group seems to expand every week.

The idea was to 'enhance' the atmosphere not argue over it. Black, white, purple, old, young, fat, thin, sit, stand, shout, clap, sing wah wah wah its all about our love of the game, right??

I wasnt stood near the main group of singers on Saturday, but I can tell you there werent any old grannies or many young kids near me pal. There was alot of faces Ive not seen for a long time at an away game, mostly blokes in the their 20-40's.
