Just posted this on another topic, but I am getting a little disillusioned and depressed about the lack of ambition at the club, no news on signings, coach, realistic plans for next year everything really. Considering we are meant to be the 18th man we as fans tend to be getting treated more like lepers than valued fans.

Great, I cant wait until Thursday at 2.30pm when our new signing is announced.

I'm not keen to contribute to yet another of these 'same old, same old' threads, but I'm finding these thinly veiled threats about season tickets a bit of a joke.

What it basically boils down to is fans who've taken it on themselves to speak for everyone else, saying: "If you don't tell us something good right now, we won't buy our season tickets, so ... yaaa!"

Very petulant, and very unconvincing.

The club will have reasons for these long silences (which have been discussed to death on other threads, before anyone else asks me what they are). And I'm sure they'll be of such importance to the club that a handful of fans threatening to deliberately miss the 'early bird' deadline won't make them change their stance.

I am sure it won't but whatever the reasons are and whether you or I think they are valid or not for these long silences it is just bad PR from IL and Wigan IMO and the fact these threads keep cropping up shows that IMO.

Not much use having a fans forum if nothing concrete is passed onto the fans on the big issues.

No one (fans that is) knows if we will keep Nobby or not and no one knows if we will be signing any players or not and those are the two big issues, the coach and the team that most fans are interested in.
