I dont think this is a normal sales campaign though. Before the tv advert we had the strongest telesales campaign we have ever launched which brought in a lot of extra sales.

I do not think the club did the tv advert expecting to get a return on the investment from this game. I think they are on a medium to long term plan to build crowds progressively and also saw the advert as an experiment.

I think the casual fan (those who have yet to buy) are more likely to buy in the week of the game. Having said that sales for the stains match in the week of the game were only about 100/day. The other factor is will people pay on the day.

I suppose we will see what happens... Any idea on how many the wire have sold, to get a true sense of the attendance to date.

Over 1,000 it was last week as the £10 ones had sold out.

I'd expect people to see the advert and the date and expect to turn up on matchday and pay on the gate. As has been previously posted, the target audience are not rugby diehards.

True. Historically, ticket sales go up steadily as fixtures approach (as you'd expect), and then about a week before the game or as it nears a sell out they'll shoot up.

4371 left (230 sold today) Great work from the marketing team almost 500 tickets sold since the tv advert went live and still 2 weeks till kick off. Can see there being less than 3000 come the salford game and would think a number of people wil buy around this date. usually find the club announce less than 500 in the south stand Mon or tuesday of the week of the match. Seriously think the south could almost be sold out come Kick off for the Safiord game.

The TV advert looks to be doing a job then unless it's just that Friday sales are normally that much better.

On those figures it looks like 15055 have been sold in the East, West & South stands. That is without tickets sold by Warrington. Which I'm sure another 1000 can be added by now.
To have sold that many two weeks before the game is superb.

As mentioned on the Saints ticket update thread, less seats remaining doesn't necessarily mean that the 'missing' seats have all been sold.

I believe my ticket has been sorted out for me .. not sure who I'll be supporting yet though

Not 100% on this but if the club keep selling at the current rate might they decide to make this a tickets-only affair? They'd have to declare it all-ticket pretty sharpish mind.

Apart from Friday we are selling roughly 100 per day at that rate we will not sell out. Not sure why we sold 4 x the normal rate on Friday (pay day, people finish early on a Friday?).

Dont know if anybody else as posted this but I have got a email because i bought tickets online that i can pick up a free big one two baseball cap from the shop at the grand arcade.

I reckon in the week leading up to the game you will see around the same as Friday (400) each day shifted.

Think it will be a sell out or very close myself

I really cant wait for this game now, it is going to be a cracker.
