IF these two sign and Fielden extends his contract i reckon that will give him the power and confidence to get back to his world class form like we saw when he was playing in an awesome pack at Bradford. With the return of Hock... and Mossop, Joel and Farrell a year older & not to mention Sean O'Loughlin our pack will be the best in the league next year no doubt about it. Only thing that worries me is Hooker, for me Leuluai isnt good enough for a starting hooker and I have my reservations about McIlorum, they are both decent players but i dont think they have it in them to control a game aswell as Riddell does.

It was rumoured that MM was looking at 3 Melbourne players, it looks like these may be our three. We will certainly be very stron IF the rumours are correct.

Ryan Hoffmann would be a right signing, he is world class at his job, would love him at Odsal. A backrow of Hoffmann, Tomkins and O'Loughlin is quite scary.

on sky sports news now, wigan sign hoffman and expected to announce brett finch and anthony quinn. no mention of lima.

Quinns a very strange one, the only way I could see that being true is if Roberts is off home, otherwise we have no need for him.

I don't see where the quinn rumour has come from, we don't really need a winger unless he is thinking of moving goulding/pryce to centre and having quinn on the wing if carmont retires.

It looks like Hoffman is definitely a done deal. I'm just not sure which other players we're going to sign. Hopefully, a statement will be made tomorrow

I'd be very happy with Hoffman, Lima and Finch, but I see no place for Quinn in our squad.

My only concern is that we don't lose Hansen as he has still yet to agree a new deal for next season.

The above would be on the assumption Mossop and Hock were propping, and Coley retires at the end of this season. Obviously until Hock returns, we have Prescott.

However, if Coley stays on then we probably need to offload one of Prescott, O'Carroll or Tuson for me.

Quinn certainly knows his way to the line

He does, but we're not short of outsde backs that can get over the line. As good a player as he is, I just don't think it's wise to spend big to fill positions we're already pretty well off in.
