Saints have been doing this for the last few years. We get phone calls letters and e.mail's. etc. The problem is that as season ticket holders why would we want to buy tickets for a home game other than to introduce a friend etc. Still they are trying which is better than having nothing.

I think the way the table is looking, this game would go close to selling out anyway.

Both teams one and two in the table, local derby, one of the highlights of the season regardless for a lot of fans.
If this doesn't sell out it never will.

It will definitely sell out. The only obstacle may well be that it's going to be the first rugby league game in this country to be broadcast in 3D which might send some to the pubs. Personally though I'd much rather go the game than have to look at Ben Westwood in 3D

looks like a bumper crowd in the making 14500 tickets allready sold with around 3 and half weeks to go , just a quick one guys how many fans does the away stand hold at dw stadium sure the wire will fill it and if all goes well could be a top of the table clash and if its anything like the match at the hj should be one hell of game

I can see Wire filling their allocation in the North Stand - 5402

Plus maybe a section of the West Stand (500 to 1000) if the demand is there.

Could be a full 24k sell out this one!!

We have only sold just over 5000 as we have around 9k season tickets

3D? I'm fascinated by the prospect of watching RL in 3D on TV but I'm not going to take that option over £10 to be at the match or even full price for that matter. Less than a fiver and only ten minutes on the train from Warrington and the prospect of another match like the one at the HJ and on a Friday night this must surely top the attendance from Sunday night.

5000 with over 3 weeks to go and before the advertising campaign is very good. Some Superleague clubs cant even get that for their total attendance...

Their away support is usually first class, and with how important this game will be I'd be amazed if they didn't sell out.

I'm sure they packed their end for the last few years with the exception of last year's dead rubber after the SF.

No. It's only being broadcast in the local Granada (North West) area.

Right sorry I meant to say terrestrial TV.

Glad they put it on the website otherwise I'd have never seen it.

It'd be interesting if we could find out just how much of an effect the TV ad has on the attendance. Will that many people who don't usually attend Rugby matches be tempted just because of a TV ad.
