joel not josh who needs sort it out! need to look at joel's positioning, which means man over so josh looks at fault wen hes not.

anyway he smashed it up with his two trys and showed how good he is and it can only get better at 20yrs of age!

I'd be interested to give Josh a run out in the centres. Personally I feel we've got Marsh and Josh the the wrong way around positionally.
Try Josh in the centres with Marsh on the wing.

The very fact he can run through players it what makes him a better bet in the centre than Marsh will ever be.

He is our biggest weakness but he made up for it with that try. Still worries me though.

I went nuts when he went through, him and Sam ripped them to shreds!

We dropped Ainscough and his confidence was shot and we never saw him again. Lets keep Charnley in and keep his confidence high after a terrific try.

Charnley went up against the 2nd best winger in the competition today who was on fire, he certainly doesn't deserve to be dropped and it was his try that pretty much sealed the win.

Correct, and this was really the only route they had. He is only 20 and will be scoring tries for Wigan when King has been long retired...

Those blaming Joel Tomkins and Josh Charnley are way off. It's Deacon who is the weak link and the one who takes the wrong option or is too slow to slide across. Luckily Deacon is bloody good with ball in hand but defensively he's poor and teams always target him just as Wire did today.

King v Charnley was always going to be a worry, and I think he (and Joel) did a pretty good job keeping them quieter than usual.

Deacon it to blame, kept picking the wrong man and not sliding making Joel to come in therefore maikng Charnley to come in. Also I though Hock was very lazy in defence that's why he didn't feature in the 2nd half.

JT is never a centre in a million years and I really hope they return him to the 2nd row next season for his own development.

Charnley needs to learn defence- and quickly. If he was in my team he would be dropped next week.

Whoever is to blame the right side needs sorting out. I have said repeatedly Wire would attack the right side as St, George did. I don't think anyone needs a crystal ball to predict that is what any top side will do against us.

However lets leave that to the coaches to sort out for now and congratulate Charley for his tries particularly the length of the field effort. The BBC highlight of that is worth watching as it shows it head on and the step he gave to leave Hodgson for dead was superb.

So you don't notice the frequent mistakes by Deacon then, or you choose to ignore them? Why do you think teams keep getting an overlap? It's not the centre or winger who is responsible for that, it happens further in field. Whether Joel is a centre or not he's not done too badly and neither has Charnley. It isn't their fault that they constantly have to deal with overlaps.
Too many times Deacon falls for the dummy runner, taking the wrong man and is too slow to cover across meaning both Tomkins and Charnley have to stay tighter for longer, which just means they have a man over on the edge. Every single team attempts to target Deacon and Wire did it all day today and got some reward for it.

How is it nobody has mentioned coley missing an obvious runner (Hodgson for example) which led to a wire try? Charnley got dragged in but only because of mistakes inside him. Joel is improving every game at centre and was up against a good un today in Atkins. 3 times his defence led to Wire beinfmg dragged into touch. I thought he was really string.

Hock played on the right hand side of defence today which is not his normal area.

Charnley was at fault for the 2 tries in my opinion.

The first one Joel was already in position to tackle Atkins, with cover coming from behind in Sam Tomkins. There was no need to take Atkins and leave King wide open.

The other try, Hodgson was almost on the floor when he offloaded - with Joel on top of him. There was again no need to come inside to tackle a grounded man and leave King again, wide open.

It's just a learning experience, but for the 2 tries we conceded, he scored 2 tries.

Great team performance, its just the lack of experience on our right hand side that is our weak point at the moment.

Dropping Charnley should not be an option, he will learn in time IF he continues to get experience. He came in too often in the 1st half, learnt the lesson and didn't in the second. An example of a player learning the lesson and adapting/developing his game.

He'll be a top winger in a couple of years if he's kept there.
