Cynics (myself and even the Wigan Observer rugby reporter in his column this week) suggest them two want new contracts either here or somewhere else seeing as they run out at end of year.

Riddell - I was looking at the eels site a few days ago and he holds a fair few records there for points scoring. Something he hasn't replicated here yet

Coley (yes his early season form was woeful but he's answered his critics with some massive performances, no Wigan forward has physically dominated his Stains opposite nos. for years, but he did in Edinburgh, absolutely fantastic)

Biggest disappointment

Roberts (has done absolutely nothing to justify his billing, must try harder!)

Fingers crossed it does. We could play well and still lose tonight, KR have quietly built a very good side, Galea in particular looks to be in extremely good form and there are some ex-Wigan players in there who will be out to prove a point...

i think the one person who will shock you will be Colbon; been very consistant all season and the main person who will want to prove a point.
Dobbo on fire will kick anyteam all over the park,
and briscoe never gets tackled behind the line

Interesting to see that quite a few who have picked Riddell as the biggest disappointment.

Why?

I don't remember him being particularly poor in any of the games, and remember some good stuff from him (The chase back to beat England winger Lee Smith to the kick at Leeds and the two try scoring passes at Salford being just some examples)

Is it just that he has not lived up to being the "character" we all expected?

I think a lot of people were, rightly or wrongly, expecting a 'Kieran Cunningham at his peak' when we signed Riddell.

I think people just expected he'd be a better player then he's been so far. He's done ok don't get me wrong but we were promised this huge character and so far he's looked pretty quiet both in his play and as a bloke on the field.

I have no doubt he'll improve and maybe him being out of the side these past few weeks will have given him abit of a shake up because i think he can produce far more then he's done so far.
