Yeah they are also charging £20. KC Stadium has always been expensive but at least your getting good facilities and a roof.

Its the no mark yorkshire no roofed terraces that get my goat. Odsal, Headingley, Wheldon Road, Belle Vue, Craven Park.

Certainly the first four venues shouldn't be in so poor a state. They've had the Sky Super League money for years and the RFL should have found some balls and got them to get the grounds up to scratch. I certainly hope they have the bottle to kick sides out next time if venues aren't being improved! Because Widnes, Leigh, Doncaster, Halifax for example all have better facilities.

seems cheap when you consider the other day i went for my away ticket to old trafford and them upstarts are charging £43 for an adult ticket!

Ye that was down the side aswell wot are they charging us at the end of the month to sit in a tempory stand with no facilties in the stand and if you need the toilet at h/t u av to go into anova stand imagine that happening at the jjb.

Football legacy, I'm afraid, and a complete pain in the a2$e! It also takes at least 9 minutes to get served at half time so start practicing necking it in 1 minute.

It might be a football rule but the ground owners don't have to enforce it at RL games. Ale wasn't allowed to be taken to your seats when the JJB first opened (as per the FA rules) but then the rule was changed for RL fans.

It is a licensing condition, FC cannot change the approach, nor can the SMC, nor do we want to.

Can you not change it in the away end for Fridays game. I think us Wiganers might be needing a drink or two.

According to RLW magazine most standing prices are about £17-£18 so £2 more to sit in the best stadium in the league isn't too bad really.

The thing is that although this sounds good in practice it wouldn't necessarily work( Rogues suggested the same thing earlier in the thread). What could happen is that the away fans who are to be charged £20 in the North stand (ie Hull, HullKR, Leeds etc) could decide to pay less and pay home prices in the South , East or West stands. Just imagine that. I know that RL fans pride themselves in being able to mingle but I also have to admit that the KC with its segregation is a safer place to take the family than the Boulevard ever was.

It's also the best stadium in SL.
