Its not the end of the world yet though and we have another chance next week. Anybody would of held Carmont back in the same situation and i would of been fuming if one of our players didnt do the same if it happened to us



TBH i think some people are just looking for someone else to blame, once they have calmed down they will realise that we blew it and Leeds held their nerve end of.

Something definately needs to be done about it, we dont want it creeping into our game like it has with football.

I have nothing against Leeds taking Carmont out like that as anybody would do it in the same situation. We only have ourselves to blame for the defeat today and pretty much for all the defeats we've suffered this year.

Hopefully we'll bounce back next week and in the coming weeks like we've done previously after defeats this year.

Good post. Any neutral fan would have really enjoyed tonight, it was a great game. The only thing that worries me is that some people on here are actually wishing that a player has a serious injury. Those who have said this should be ashamed of themselves.

You got a made up penalty in the first place (watch the replay), so to expect it even closer is pushing it. Besides, "Super Pat" is the best kicker in the league isn't he? Sinfield can make those attempts, so someone from Australia should be able to back heel them over

1) Any fan that wishes a long term injury on a player isn't a fan, you're just a moron.

2) You were lucky to get the distance you did, should have been for the actual penalty from McGuire and not from Donald.

3) Probably about the same as a Wigan player, judging from Tomkins kicking out.

4) Genuinely, good luck in a fortnight. If it's half as good a game then we're in for a treat. Both teams were ill-disciplined tonight and you were edged by a more experienced team. Show your class and you'll beat us...which is something a lot of your fans are lacking tonight.

After all the rubbish posted on here after this game I now have zero respect for Leeds and their fans, that takes a lot to make me feel that way.

It would have been nice for a few Leeds fans to come on and say 'Good game, you played well and it could have gone either way' or something similar but no, no respect for them whatsoever. Gobes.

Every single one of the Leeds players including their coach is a balloon head with most of them play acting, moaning, cheating, fouling and lying their way through their careers.

Leeds never used to be like this under Smith it's McLennan who is a class one turd and it's rubbing off on the players, Rugby League used to produce good sportsmanship and whatever happened on the pitch stayed on the pitch.

I really hope we get them away and beat them by cheating, it would be poetic justice.

Danny McGuire's foul play was simply payback, I'd have done the exact same if I were in his shoes, what's the most they could have done to him? Sent him off with 5 seconds left? Scared.

I think the lack of respect stems from the fact that numerous Wigan fans are wishing a long term injury on Danny McGuire.

It was a good game, it could have gone either way. In fact, that's exactly what every Leeds fan I've spoken to tonight has said. Any idiot that comes on the forums just to laugh at opposition fan doesn't deserve the time of day, but for most I think it's a reaction to what's been aimed very narrowly at McGuire. Have we forgotten the indiscretions of other players on the night? Both Tomkins brothers blameless?

Agree with that last bit in a big way. People werent happy about that numpty (cant remember his name) on the radio saying it about Amos early in season but now they are doing it! Some people have short memories.

McGuire is the biggest cheat in the game. He cost us the Challenge Cup QF with his blatent cheating, and now he's cost us a home SF in the Prem trophy with blatent, blatent cheating.
He got injured because he cheated. I hope he fit enough to play RL again on the 3rd October.

Senior tested this rule earlier in the year, so we already knew the answer. Personally I think both should have been off for kicking out.

As for the penalty, Crusaders would feel very hard done by if we hadn't gotten the penalty, they suffered that recently, only difference is Pat failed.

As for McGuire, hopefully that will put players off taking out players off the ball, seriously annoying, but I'd assume it was worth it to him.

Now to get some form back on Friday.
