It'll be a 20,000 plus crowd, that's for certain, but I can't see it being a sell-out at this stage though. Great effort by both clubs to get such a good crowd though.

All that matters is that is will be one hell of a game, and one hell of an atmosphere.

I'm getting goose bumps just imagining what it's going to be like.

Personally I'd be dissapointed if the attendance didn't exceed the 21,700 that went to Trent Barrett's debut in feb 2007. Especially considering that both clubs have achieved and improved significantly since then.

just been in the warrington shop for yet another ticket and was told there was only around 50 tickets of our allocation remaining , gonna be one hell of a game and what a superb advert for our great game

You'd expect those 50 to sell this afternoon.
That being the case I'd expect a representative from Wigan will no doubt be travelling to the Wire Shop to hand over an allocation of East/West Stand tickets.....no point dissapointing supporters when there is another full day (all day tomorrow) of selling to do.

That along with Wigan's remaining purchases today and tomorrow...plus any walk up, i'd expect 22k+ which is excellent.

Agreed, that's superb, especially as there were no special offers etc.

Hope the club send some more to wire, get as many of them in as possible. Looking at over 5k which is a great effort regardless of how close they are. All of those are paying customers and none get in with a season ticket so it's a great effort to do that away from home!

Looks like wire have been given the whole side section in East, I would say thats about 420 seats or something.

22k barrier would be great.

For this reason we will never see the wire game as the 'big one' again.... with both teams playing well it could even be bigger than the saints crowd this year. Some even said it was a bad idea last year... would we have got over 20k anyway?

But it won't stop some the like of jdrocket coming on here and telling everyone that they brought around 7,000 fans to the game.

Not as bad as Hull KR fans the first time they came to Wigan, trying to claim they brought 6k
