This is getting silly now.

We all know Wigan's support in derbies at KR is impressive - we can't do much more than sell out the allocation your club gives us. If Warrington receive a bigger allocation than us, then naturally they will sell more tickets.

Similarly, we also all know that Saints' support at our place is usually top noth. The North Stand is usually full, and you end up creeping round into the East Stand too.

Hence why this year's reported sales total from Saints has raised so many eyebrows.

We did indeed sell our allocation for that and plenty bought them from Saints whereas back in 2002 our ticket sales ahead of the final at murryfield we're pretty pathetic tbh but the people that back the side through thick and thin were there and what a great day it was



Petty ticker arguments are boring really aren't they! We've got a derby coming up on Sunday that promises to be one of the very best in a long time and surely theres more then enough to talk about in terms of what will happen on the field without needing to bother about ticket sales(or lack of) of it.

The new online ticket system may be good for telling everyone how many tickets have been sold but its useless for actually buying tickets, at least for me.

Trying to buy 3 tickets in the West and it keeps cutting out to a screen saying 'There has been an unexpected error'.

As long as it breaks 20k that's the main thing as far as publicity goes in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, did the blue bit of Wigan get many gates over 20K? I take little or no interest in wendyball.

Man City, Sunderland, Blackburn and Hull all tipped just over 20k, and there were 22k on for Arsenal's visit - I went to that one as a mate had a spare ticket, and the full away end helped with that gate, although Latics fans were out in force as well - cheap tickets and a win which pretty much kept them safe for another year. There were just over 17k there for the only other game I went to, against Liverpool, and that was with a sold-out away end again. Think we played Leeds later that week and got a slightly bigger gate for that one.

They gave thousands of tickets away for nothing for the Arsenal game to kids. They average abou 14k home fans.

South Stand now sold out.

Not to mention when they play United, Liverpool and Everton there are loads of fans from the other team in the home end.

It's a shame the saints fans are not filling their stand, this game deserves a sell-out.

They only come in numbers when they feel certain of a win....

Really, really unimpressed with the Wigan ticket office today.

Not only does the online ticket system not work, I've rung up twice and been on hold for around 20 minutes each time despite being in 'queue position 1'.

Now I'm desperate to go to this game so will probably make a detour later today and visit the actual ticket office. However if others were to receive this level of poor service I'm sure they'd be likely to give up and not bother trying again in the future.

Does anybody REALLY know how many Stains have sold?

The official website says were on course for a 20K crowd, but with us looking like selling all of ours this must mean Stains have sold less than 2K, surely not!!

Make sure you let the club know! They can't fix a problem they don't know about.

i take it the novelty hasnt worn off yet

i was wandering last night where everyone was getting the info from, so had a play myself and tried to find my seat

tickets look like selling well for wires game as well. think it will top the crowd on Sunday as the fickle ones from over the hill look like they aren't confident of a win this week
