In all honesty though it would be a worry signing another overseas player and I think it would make Lenagan think twice but at the end of the day we're not a club that holds the national side back. We produce more then our fair share of superleague players and are giving a stack of young lads a chance already.

Or alternatively, we could try to sign Lance Hohaia.

And admit we're playing him the halfbacks already meaning that 2 or our 3 current British halfbacks will either miss out on a spot or leave the club all together(in Pryces case).

I'm not criticising Saints as they need to get the best side they can on the field with the salary cap space they're allowed. They also like ourselves do more then enough for the British game in terms of producing players of a good enough quality for the international side.

I don't think anyone in the right mind would regard is as being particularly controversial, except in certain quarters of St Helens - though only in their case if it's Wigan they're talking about. What a self-righteous mule.

Agreed. He played a massive part in us avoiding relegation. The job he did for us in the circumstances he did it in make him a club legend already IMO.

I like Finch and think he is capable of doing a good job for us, but for me the creativity, flair and mobility of Sam at 6 and the kicking game and all round quality and reliabilty of Dobson at 7 would be a superb combination.
