Sums it all up in a nutshell (!!) - Martin certainly seemed close to tears on several occasions on Saturday. It was by far his best performance in a Wigan shirt and reminded me of the class centre he undoubtedly still is. Still the best in the country on Saturday's performance and indeed his performances this last month since he came back after his hernia operation.

Gleese has finished this season in great form and I have no doubt he is the reason for the majority of Gouldings tries. He seemed so fired up for that game on Saturday and you could tell by his reaction to everything what happened.
