Richards is only kicking at 66.6% this year which is well below his last two years standard.

As a team our kicking is 53.8% which is very poor.

Pat went off the boil kicking-wise at the World Cup I think and he's not bounced back from that. He's still relatively new to it when you think about it so maybe he's having a bit of a plateau of form.

No he can't. He missed an awful one against Saints last year when Richards went off injured. Was virtually infront of the posts.

Riddell was a decent kicker in Aus, clearly hasn't practised much if at all since he has been here.

Pat's kicking has dropped off as well, when you are as indifferent as we can be, his kicking was such an important thing to us.

We need to get it back on track.

Can Sam Tomkins kick, I am sure I have seen him kick sometime.

Had we converted our tries against Barrow the score would have been 42-20. Long gone.

Had we converted all our tries we would have beaten Castleford at home & would have took the lead against Huddersfield for the final ten minutes.

Not making excuses but it is a crucial element of the game.

Sam does kick but i wouldnt put that responsabilty on the lads shoulders yet give it 2 year and will be 1st choice kicker i hope imo.

That could be a vote frano botica or faz as our best kicker i no people mite also add jim sullivan for our mature/older fans.

I would give Amos the number 2 role for kicking as he does have a very good kick on him.

But like others have said the back up kickers need to practise midweek rather than have a few kicks at the start of the warm up like Amos and Piggy did yesterday.

Punchy Griffiths and Colin Tyrer were also very good goalkickers.

Even if Colin did take the best part of a week to kick a goal!

I seem to recall Luke Robinson kicking a few early in his carear for us. I'm sure if they think Tomkins is a better kicker than Riddell/Roberts he'd have been kicking yesterday. He's scoring tries so I'm sure being backup kicker wouldn't phase him.

Was just about to say that. Think it's cost us 2 wins this year. I think we would have seen the game out had we taken the lead against Hudds. (Although to be fair both tries were scored out wide)

Were they both ' toe bungers' ??
