Stuart Fielden smashed Mick Vella allover the DW last night.

feilden has been awesome last couple of month s, hes making plenty of yards ,good work rate , and is tackling is up there

but his fingers are still made of 'i can't believe it's not butter'

Exactly. He seems to get a lot of hype from dumb and dumber on Sky, but I've seen nothing to warrant it whenever I've seen him.

How many errors did he make last night then?

i've no idea and don't really care, i didn't watch the whole match due to it being ruined by one of the impartial sky commentary team tossing himself off over a pretty poor looking Wigan side.

i'll wager that over the course of the season Fielden's dropped the ball more times than most other forwards in super league though.

Not at all, Fielden's vastly overrated and Phil Clarke's becoming more and more of an embarrassment the closer Wigan get to the GF.
There's no bitterness in agreeing with what everyone else knows.

Very good player is Vella but he should never have opened his mouth, basically it made him a target and Fielden had him in his back pocket all night.

I find it off that a Prop would chose to make the comments he did prior to the playoffs basically giving MM motivational ammo. I understand a half saying it as it may suck a few in and provide space for others when he becomes a target, but a Prop who carts it up all day I find it strange.

I doubt he will be providing anyone with the same kind of material prior to next years playoffs should KR be in contention.

Apart from Morley + Graham, i'd have Fielden over anyone. Including Peacock.

If you don't like the sky commentary team then turn off the sound and if you still want a commentary on the game turn on to your local radio station who are doing the game.

TBH we should all write to sky and ask them to add a yellow button to the red one which could be used to change the audio stream to "game and crowd audio only, no commentators", and charge you 50p to use it, I'd pay and Sky would probably make a small fortune
