I think its more the fact that Smith actually jumped intro the stand, almost, and celebrated pretty much amongst the Wigan supporters. If there had been some idiots near by someone could have gotten hurt. Not the best idea by the Union Turncoat

Yes, it probably was OTT but lets be honest, theres not many teams who wouldn't of gone OTT at that moment

completely agree that the fans throwing bottles and spitting was terrible, there's never an excuse for that. But lee smith, instead of celebrating with his own players as most teams do after a try, chose to head towards the Wigan fans and climbed onto the hoarding or wall or whatever it is. That, and bailey walking half the length of the pitch to act the big man in front of the wigan fans then having to run back when sinfield missed the conversion, showed the attitude of the Leeds players in my opinion. Certainly not classy or professional.

I was stood right infront of the last try, it was JJB who was inciting the Wigan fans. Stood screaming in the faces of the young uns at the front with his arms out in a 'come on then' motion. Horrible house, shame nothing hit him.

Linesman got hit with what looked like a lunchbox, but when you incite fans in that manner...

Sorry but how can you say he didnt celebrate with his team mates? He was the middle of a huge huddle of Leeds players! I think even the most tinted cherry and white glass wearer must understand the emotions going through a player at that sort of time and must know that he and his team mates werent thinking and were simply jubilant at scoring as they did......
