Pathetic really given the stick they have given Wigan fans, probably the most loyal in the league, prior to the game for the "Wigan Walk" on the Trinity forum.

as i have already pointed out, what you saw was the exit door stewards preparing for your fans early exit by opening the doors when we went in front, a health and safety precaution known as "the wigan walk pre-emptive reaction"

Those people may have looked as though they left the ground but were in relaity only making sure the gates were really wide open in case we scored again.

hope this clarifies this wakefield walk situation, and for total clarity, we saunter out, stylishly.

I agree Jonh it is pathetic which is why I make a point of it on other fans forums.

Rugby league land hate us and are sooo bitter because of our past that they have to have a pop at everything and clearly the commitment of Wigan supporters should not be one of them.

That said, the banter with most Wakie fans is always good fun.

It was hilarious. There was a group of lads giving it plenty of mouth all through the game. Went quiet with about 5 to go so I turned round to see them heading for the exits...
