Seriously, the guy is a stain of the first order. The heaping of praise upon St Helens in recent matches has only been matched by his lack of it when Wigan were the (vastly superior) champions. He's a typical jealous scouse scrote.

Funny, isn't it, how, when Wigan were sweeping all before them, you couldn't help but feel that he was worried it wasn't good for rugby league. Equally funny (or maybe not) how he doesn't appear to worry about that with Saints.

It would be nice to think that, after tonight's result, he'll be totally p*ssed off. But the reality is that when Saints' star wanes he'll just go on to someone else - as long as it isn't Wigan.

Behave yourself, Hemmings is like that with every team. If a team performs well he goes well over the top. When you hammered Bradford at home, they went on Like you'd won the World Cup and only last week they were tipping Ainscough as the Young player of the year already.

At the moment he is streets ahead but it looks like he'll have to win it from the reserves now.

I'm sure Saints fans won't agree with me though because little Kyle kicked a goal from the touchline and then dropped a goal so he surely deserves it

Nah I'd say the lad has done well and is probably infront at the moment. However, that wasn't the argument was it? The point Cruncher was trying to make is Hemmings favours Saints. That was just one argument I used to support the point that he doesn't.

Eastmond may be class but he's played a total of about 60 minutes this season.

If thats enough to be considered for the young player of the year award then the leagues fallen more then i first thought!

I think come the end of the season we may be looking outside of those 2 as young player anyway as neither will get enough gametime to win it.

For not being able to tackle, and being incredibly slow. Mr Wellens has certainly been at the top for a long time and has an awful lot of Winners Medals to show for this.

Wellens is a great club man, nothing more.

'Wello' is in a side that makes him look good. When he plays for England/GB he stinks. His positioning from attacking kicks in the WC was awful.

Ahhh you see we would all know it, If it were true. Paul Wellens had Rep Honours in 2002 and 2003 at least, both as to which Im pretty sure Rads was still playing. Wellens won Rugby League Writers player of the year, the Man of Steel and most importantly his fellow players voted him player of the year. All evidence to suggest that he is more than " a Great Club man."

When most play for England/GB they stink. Bibey has won 2 cup winners medals yes. However Wellens has been at the top for many years and has won the Man of Stee and Super league Players player. I wouldn't suggest this was a side making hm look good.
