| Just wondering peoples thoughts on how he's shaping up?
IMO he's looking a real prospect at the minute and just continues to get the job done. If you look on the superleague website his stats compare very well against some of the real top guns(Morley, Graham ect) on averages of metres to carries and tackles per game.
I've always though with O'Carroll that he won't be anywhere near his best until he's mid to late 20's because he needs to add natural bulk to his frame but he's doing very well at the minute. He should use Danny Nutley as a template of what he could become with his size and in the same way as Nutley had he seems to have a very good attitude and works hard for the team. I like the way he never gets rattled in a tackle. He always make yards however big or small 'forward'.
Hope he keeps up the good work.

| I am just pleased Noble has played him. There were rumours on here last season it was him or Colbon for a new deal and Nobby wanted Colbon!
I think the world cup did him a lot of good and he'd be on my team sheet before Coley every week.

| Prescott will be the same when he plays in the first team, well done to both of them. I can see Eamon becoming a good impact prop.

| He showed a great deal of promise last season then had a great campaign with Ireland in the world cup.
This season he has been very consistent and put in a lot of hard work for us.

| Rate him highly ,he as an awesome engine on him never stops , really impressed with his defence great at marker as well, i was talking to ex player yesterday who rated very highly and could not understand why he did not feature more last year with under performing forwards being played instead.

I don't as one of is mane assets is stamina, i've seen him do nearly eighty min at academy level and still look for work .I know their is a big step up to first team but he is more of a worker than an impact prop .

| He's yet to make an error this season and has only conceded 2 penalties, that's pretty good.
I'm pleased to see the constant rumours about him being involved in the Richard Moore deal haven't affected his performance negatively, and I think he can get even better.

| He's been very good and more importantly, he's been consistant. For me, he'd be one of the first names of the team sheet and he has probably been one of our most enthusiastic players. I'm sure his aim will to be included within the squad for the rest of the season before becoming an established first choice prop for 2010.
Well done Eamon, keep it up.

| I really like Eamon. He looks so small and cuddly, but he's deceptively strong, and makes plenty of yards. Remember when Morley went into a tackle with him, and Morley came off second best with a broken face?

Well that is what I believe the rumours were and I am sure at least one person on here can confirm it was either Colbon or O'Carroll for a permanent deal and it wasn't clear cut who was going to get it.
There were then the rumours earlier about O'Carroll being offered as part of a deal for Moore from Wakefield and to be honest I can't remember what the conclusion was on that one (i.e. if there was anything in it or not) but my view is O'Carroll's position here wasn't that certain pre this season.
It is now given how well he has done.

| I've been impressed with him, he's been one of (if not the best) prop forward we've got at the moment & IMO he's really underrated compared to the likes of Ainscough and Sam Tomkins.
But the thing that encourages me the most, there's a lot more to come from Eamon O'carroll.

| Eamon displays an attitude and work ethic that puts some of our more seasoned players to shame.
I don't know if it's 'small-person syndrome' but he's a tough lad who won't give up. An absolute credit to the team and is easily or 3rd prop at the moment, hopefully with Prescott becoming our 4th soon.
Keep on going Eamon!

| His form does pose the question about needing a Prop to replace Coley in 2010. If Prescott can get back up to the form he showed pre injury in 2008 we will have a pretty strong front line of Props, with the likes of Hock for example in my opinion another year closer to making the move forward. Although Fieldens contract does not run out till the end of the 2010 season he must be starting to get a little worried, about the prospect of being able to secure one last deal with Wigan.

First team choice now, after all who would you drop him for?

| Hopefully Prescott can regain fitness and get to back to his pre-injury form as for me he has a lot more potential than Eamon and could be one of the very top props in the league
Eamon has been fantastic this season and is only going to get better. His WC experience seems to have done him wonders.
He is only going to improve and has another 6 or 7 years before he reaches his peak.
I think he could either start or come off the bench to great effect as his attitude and determination is great and he has the ability to make them hard yards when we need them
Keep it up Eamon

How big was Danny Nutley? Sure they are a similar build.
