| I know there's numerous possible scenarios but the most likely is this (assuming Saints and Cas both win):
Win tonight - Cas away first week of playoffs
Lose tonight - Saints away first week of playoffs
So the question is, which of these would you prefer?
For me Cas away would be a nightmare game for us and I wouldn't fancy us at all. Old compact stadium, tiny crumbling changing rooms, small pitch, intense atmosphere and a very good, well coached side.
Whereas Saints away I'd be very confident. We always perform well there and Saints with their injuries lack any real creativity or flair.

| I'd like to play Cas. It's a different play off fixture and we owe them one for knocking us out of the cup.
I wouldn't be too worried about them either. It takes teams years to get used to the play offs and this is their first appearance in a while. They won't be ready imo.

| Cas. I reckon that cup run will have taken it out of them, plus winning away at Les Cats will take a fair effort, or if they give the lads a rest for that game they'll likely to lose then have to face us at DW, which is a much tougher prospect for them than the jungle. I don't really fancy Saints to do much in the play offs either but they have experience of regularly getting to finals and the derby element shouldn't be underestimated

| To be honest I don't really care. If we we think we can win the competition we should only worry about ourselves and play whoever we end up with.
It will be interesting to see how Cas do once the play offs start. History has shown experience counts for a huge amount when it comes to the business end. Will they compete or do a Huddersfield from last year. It will also be interesting to see how last years experience will either benefit or destroy the confidence of Huddersfield.

| The only two teams I believe could beat us even on one of our good days (and if they had one of their very good days) would be Wire or Leeds.
I'll take any of the other teams home or away safe in the knowledge that we'll have to play below our best to stand a chance of losing.

| its either Cas or Hudds at home, or Cas or Saints away..depending on results still to come.
Would prefare Saints away, if only because it means they will have blown winning the hub cap

How the FCUK would you know that. The last few times you've been at the jungle you've arrived already changed and got straight back on the bus after. Its disrespect like this that Powell will use to motivate Cas. Here come the big time Charlies already changed.

| Phil Wilkinson has tweeted:-
'Wigan's 1st playoff will be next Fri - either at home to Hudd or Cas, or away at Cas or Sts - depending on other results/finish 2nd or 3rd.'
Good news for me if this is true as I can't make a Saturday game.

| Anyone with half of brain would want saints. Seriously struggling to score points without lomax, Walsh and Wilkin and we are poor in defence.

| Purely from a selfish logistical POV, I'd be happy with any of the above apart from Cas away, as it's the only one I wouldn't be able to get to on a Friday night!
