Where is everyone going for a beer before the game ????

Meeting in Moon early then train to wire bout hallf 10/11. There's a wetherspoons just up the road from Bank Quay so will probably head there first then head towards Lord Rodney before kick-off

The wee Railway club next to Central Stn is usually okay, all the Wigan fans tend to congregate in the Back Room there

Probably the Rodney from about midday. It's been done up recently and is a lot nicer inside. Plus it's quite cheap too, reletivley speaking!

since its revamp its gone quite expensive , plenty of good pubs in the town centre doing £1 . 50 a pint during the day , there within a 10-15 minute walking distance

Ever since it's been done up its got quite expensive so I don't really go in there. The Kings head Opposite the Railway is a decent Pub. I don't mind the Hop Pole or the Railway Club.

Met some Warrington fans in Magaluf and was told to go in the Kings Head before the game, but don't go in their claiming I'm a Wigan fan else I'll get my head kicked in.

The Rodney is a great atmosphere on game day (and the landlord is hillarious!!

I know people have experienced trouble at Wire in the past few years but lets be honest we all have our idiots and we have a fair share too

Just make sure you don't drink beer on the train!

Is there anywhere ok to park, which is close to pubs and the ground, for those travelling by car ??

There's a Car Park on Orford Lane quite close to the Irish Club (about five minutes walk from the ground)

We generally park at the bottom of Norman Street (atleast that's what I think it's called), just off Orford Lane behind the big yellow storage place then head to one of the bars near the Jaguar garage, never had any problems in Warrington to be honest, although we haven't ventured near this infamous train station yet lol!!

theres a huge ncp car park about 100 yards from the south stand side of the ground it costs £2.20 for all day so thats quite good

They put the prices up to about 4.50 on match days. Or at least they do on Fridays as I drive up tanners lane on my way home from work and see the crafty urchins changing the prices. Still an easy and convenient place to park though. As for drinking usually go Lower Angel, Railway Club, Lord Rodney. Always a pleasure in each. Agree the Landlord in Rodney is a character but on all fairness singing wa#@y Warrington in his pub is out of order. Plenty of good natured banter without that.

It's £4 on match days. Plenty of space on there but it's a pain getting out after the match. And watch out for parking in the side streets as some of them are for residents only (Generally the closer ones off Orford lane).

Good place to park is just off Tanners lane.

The car park is there on the left. The railway club and the Kings arms are just next to it. Its right next to the ground and a sparrows fart away from town.

Only a couple of quid too i think. Couple of quid for most of the day.

I've been to Warrington this afternoon and met loads of traffic on Winwick Road because one lane was closed so my advice is to set off early.

Or go down to the next junction on the M6 and come in via the A57 (Manchester Road)

They've only been closing the lane between summat like 9-4 Monday to Friday for Road works - Outside those hours it's been fully open.

Yes, I came home that way.
