I’d rotate Mago with Ellis. Looked a bit flat last week, possibly still recovering from the injury?

Ellis is a good ball carrier but his lateral movement in defence is dreadful. Gets stepped so easily.

The only players in the squad who haven’t been playing for a while are Miski and Halsall, so I’m guessing they’ll play.

Cust is bang out of form/not over his injury so should be dropped to the bench minimum.

Also we need Bevan around the ball more, great on the wing but we need him and field as involved as possible.

Also think we should pair KPP and Halsall in the centres as I hope these would be our playoff centres (assuming Halsall can kick on given a run of games).

Simply a rest for Smith for me. Cust has been awful since he came back but he looks like he needs minutes in his legs to me. We need to look at what we can do in the centre position and this is a great chance to do that. Brad O’Neill deserves a start and some big minutes. The kid helped us win a trophy and I certainly can’t say with any great confidence that we’ve been better in that position since the cup final. Powell is better in some areas but not all. I’d give Byrne the week off as well.

Cust looks busted to me, the club need to sort his elbow problem out. Looking at HKRs squad, I think we could have given one or two more fringe players a gig.

Potentially I agree but they seemed to suggest him holding his arm was a mental thing as much as anything but it didn’t look great. His match fitness looks off to me and that’s why I’d play him. That chase back in the couple of minutes at Magic was worrying. His defence hasn’t been crash hot all season and an arm injury certainly won’t help.

Looking at HKR squad I wouldn’t be surprised to see Field and/or French rested.

Part of my agrees, but it all depends on the mood of the squad.

Friday was absolutely humiliating and a big performance will does us/the moral a lot more good than a week off imo. We need to get the momentum back.

Wouldn't be surprised if we're a bit nervy after the setback last week but hopefully we can up the intensity and get back to what we've been for most of the year. If there is an opportunity to rack up some points then we need to take it as I have a suspicion that 2nd place might be decided on the last game between us and Catalans - points difference could be important there.

My thoughts exactly. After such a bad loss/performance the sooner you can get back on the horse the better imo.

Get the strongest team out, get back on track and make sure it's just a one game performance blip.

After last week, Bibby and Isa should be nowhere near!!

We genuinely have 14 players injured, it's not just a case of resting niggles. So definitely the perfect opportunity for both French AND Field to be rested (please)

I'm not saying it's a ruse, but I'm getting a bit fed up of Wigan giving a less than sparkling performance just because they think the opposition is substandard.

If they are sending the reserves then we need to go for the jugular like a certain team who shall remain nameless would do, let's try and pull some of that points difference back that we chucked away last week.

I think if we go at 100mph and try to force it we risk it all going wrong.

There’s a way to win a game of RL, it’s about building pressure and earning the right to throw the ball about, we didn’t do that against Leeds, if we don’t do that against KR we will come unstuck.

against Leeds we went at 30 mile hr,they went at 100 mile hr that is why we lost

O'Neil has picked up a 2 game ban for contact with the ref in the reserves, don't know when it kicks in but it's looking like Powell/Shorrocks again
