| It was Watts swapping the ball to his other arm that did for him. Terry O'Connor was saying he'd used his bumper but you can't do that without the ball in it. It's reckless but not malicious and the sending off should be sufficient.
As for us, that wasn't the best. We got wrapped up in the silly stuff in the first half when we should've been concentrating on tiring the twelfth men out. We're desperate for a half who can control a game for us and for Kris Rads to get his suit off and get in the training field to show our outside backs how to deal with high kicks.

| I would love to know what went on before the game to make both teams want to biff with each other so much. There is obviously a reason that they wanted to hurt each other.
Anyroad.. on the game itself. I thought we dominated until the sending off and then we dominated some more to the point where we got complacent and cocky thinking it was going to be a stroll. We were deserved winners but i doff my cap to the Hull resilience and comeback. Silly errors again. We seem to have a cascade effect when we make one error and it turns into 3 or 4 on the bounce and invite the opposition onto us. FPN was a game changer when he came back on at the end but he was running into a completely knackered defence but nether the less he did his job and i think that is the first time i have said that about him.
On the decisions. I concur with the very honest Radford (who strikes me as a very decent chap). Decisions even themselves out. We were cheated out of a game changing try in the CC final and he acknowledged that fact. People can say the foot in touch etc etc but if the try was awarded then the game would have taken a different phase as that incident would never have happened. I think it boils down to the complete inaccuracy of the reffing each and every game and the ridiculous sending decisions up as Try's or No Try nonsense. For what it's worth i thought Tommy L put his hand on the ball firs and had it on it all the way down to the ground and should have been a drop out. I don't think Hull can complain but they will because they lost. They had more than their fair share of luck on decisions but we controlled the game better overall and were marginally more disciplined in the biff situations. The only contentious decision from our point of view for me was the potential forward pass leading to the try. It looks forward from behind (of course it does) but from other angles it looks borderline and the touch judge was there (but that isn't saying much).
All in all, a deserved win but Waney promises a better performance against Cas and it needs to be. Discipline needs to be spot on, Errors down to a minimum because they will exploit every half chance. He said we would improve for the Saints game and we did so i trust in him to have them revved up for next week.
It's game on.

| FPN was excellent and fair play to him. We need that for the rest of the season now.
Wigan got caught up in the silly stuff but a couple of Hull players lost their marbles. What was Kelly playing a team with McIlorum? And Jake Connor loves to stir the pot.
I agree about Radford. He is an honest bloke and he took the defeat on the chin. Hull are heading in the right direction with him in charge.

Jake Connor though Not Adrian Morley, not Jamie Peacock, not Adam Fogerty but Jake Connor with his furry little porn tash. He is about as imposing as Danny Dyer. My nan would run at him and probably carry him over the dead ball line.

BTW Kenny236, the answer is 11.
As for your other thread (that has been locked) about predictive text, let us be clear about the following.
It's more like e educational ability on your part rather than predictive text.
Please share details of your phone because, although it predicts your text, you are trying to place your non-existent grasp of basic grammar and punctuation on your phone.
BTW, I'd lay off the sauce in future before you post on here - especially if you don't want to appear as a total kn0b!

| I think most people would agree McIllorum got some of his own medicine and he would probably admit he hands it out so would expect a bit in return
At the end of the day it was an important match coached by two dirty ex players both of them thugs and both of them encourage playing foul at the margin of acceptable. Only thug missing was Leon Price

Exactly the same at Wembley, the talking point for both games is the ref and that should never be the case. Ganson needs to step down and dare I say it we need to look or even recruit someone from the Aussie game.

We tried that a few years ago, IIRC?
Hicks was evening things up, FC v Wigan GF would be as awesome as it is unlikely!
You won, it's in the history books, all fans are fed up of the "standard" of officials.

This coming from the fans whose response to Ryan Baileys latest act of thuggery was to laugh and say "classic Bailey."
Great game last night, would have made next seasons fixture more attractive to any Aussies watching. Proud of our effort to fight back, gutted to get pipped like we did, a bit annoyed with a red that I really didn't think was. Hopefully we can cling on to 4th now and who knows, maybe we can do it all over again at Old Trafford?

| I love the totally unbiased Sky team, if Wigan seemed to have been wronged, it ends up being a very brief discussion followed by a summarisation of, “get on with it, read it in the papers”. On the other hand, if a controversial decision seems to go in favour of Wigan (which it must be said is seldom) there seems to be a judicial inquiry that follows from the so called neutral pundits. And a change to the stated games end review, the Well's epilogue, when Scott Taylor was brought in to give an unbiased point of view on one incident really. To be fair to him, his was actually the least biased opinion of all of them!

The fuss they made about the 'forward pass' was more annoying to me than the sending off.
The red card was a bit harsh in my view (though I thought Watts acted like a pillock straight after the incident), but at worst that so-called forward pass was a line-ball. It was nowhere near as clear-cut as Hemmings, Cummings and their muppet friends tried to make out. We see dozens of passes like that allowed every season, with perhaps a comment or two, but nothing like the protracted, disgust-flavoured analysis we heard last night.
I was also amazed to hear the honours heaped on Hull for their 'home-grown' team. I guess I was out making a cup of tea when Wigan were given a similar praise.

| Hemmings was so anti Wigan last night it was pathetic. He really should've gone with his side kick. He was moaning about Wigan scoring a try off a forward pass just as Hull threw one about a metre forward (which also wasn't given but didn't lead to a try) and what did he say? Nowt, not a thing.
I don't mind any of the others tbh but it's time for Wiggy to hang up the mic and his Saints underpants he wears under his suit.
