I just find it laughable that this is happened after what we did last year.

If you ask me, a top 4 finish and in contention for both trophies is as realistic as last year. If any coach is able of doing just that, it's Shaun Wane. We've arguably the best squad in the league, and I'd be disappointed if we aren't close to being Super League 2014 champions this time next year.

I think this season will be a real test for Wigan, and Wane. Lost a lot of experience, and has new players in the squad who need to "Buy in" and be integrated. That said, i don't see that other teams have improved their squads that much, excepting Stains, and my beloved Salford

We do have more than our fair share of doom mongers to say the least. I'd say we have one of the beat squads for next year, if not the best, and fully expect us to be there or thereabouts again next season. Meanwhile they'll carry on telling us IL and co are making all the wrong moves.

It's difficult to say really. Games aren't won on paper, Wigan proved that this season. After losing Hock, Finch, Carmont and Leuluai, your squad didn't look like a double-winning squad if we are honest.

I think in 2014, on paper Leeds have the best 1-5, Saints have the best 7 and probably the best pack, apart from at 13 where O'Loughlin is streets ahead.

But like I said, it's what happens as a collective 17 that counts.

You seem to do transition rather well. Think you'll win at least one trophy next year.

I agree. Not sure I'm keen on the idea of playing in a "friendly" though. That idea just doesn't work for me!
