god these two are bad....i`ve got to the stage now where the mute button is getting more use than its ever done...

Couldn't believe the commentary when I watched to recording after the match.Maybe its time that the RFL have a word because thier anti Wigan commentries are ruining the game when Wigan on TV. If wiggy is so Pi 55*D off with wigan let Bill Arthur do it

On another planet. the Aussie grand final Commentary team this morning were fantastic, even when the set too occured describing it as a bit of brew ha ha. Classic

It was a pleasure to listen to the commentary this morning for the NRL Grand Final, proved that there's nobody who can touch Ray Warren in that job.

There's no way that Statler and Waldorf will ever be regarded in the same light as the likes of Warren, Phil Gould and Peter Sterling.

Why can't SKY see this and make a change.

I was watching a YouTube clip of Tommy putting Mauri Fasilavo of Saints (spelling?) on his back side and despite the fact they were waxing lyrical about what a great hit it was they were just SO annoying. Smallest man on the pitch puts big man down was the gist of it. Little to no mention of the skills of the man and the physical prowess that is so much part of Tommy's game. It was as if it was a fluke! No it wasn't! Muppets.

Back on topic, the problem with these two is they adore a bit of controversy, (except of course when Wigan should have had a penalty on the death on a play off game to win but it wasn't given) once they get a bit they don't shut up about it. I don't know if it is them or it is what the sky production team tell them to do. Clarke and Carney were both good to begin with but are now just as bad.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me with these boards is the number of posters whose opinion is reciprocates excactly what these two say. They have a worrying amount of influence on the views of too many people.

Wells is pretty good though it is probably only a matter of time before he falls into the trap thay caught Clarke and Carney. The only one i enjoy listening to is Shaun McRae, always has a sensible opinion and isn't afraid to correct the other numpties. He also likes to focus on the positive.

They need correcting far more often.

I am convinced when a bad tackle is made despite the fact it gets penalised and everyone moves on these two get more players banned due to over-hyping the incident than would ever happen if the games were broadcast without commentary.

The RFL disciplinary seem to react to it and they should not.

Do the video refs get the commentary? I hope not!
