Bit of a random one. My Moped/Scooter was stolen from my drive this morning. Just going to post it on here and see if anyone had seen it on the off chance.

It's a black 125cc scooter reg MX61 HBO



It has the right wing mirror missing. If anybody sees it, please call 07581457474.

Yeah it was anchored in, the Barstools sawed through that, it had a good 2 inch steel chain on it too. Speaking to the police they recommend if I do get it back or a new one, to get disc locks

Is it de-restricted? A black 61 plate one similar to that overtook me on the road from Golborne to Abram last night riding like he'd stolen it.

It's not de-restricted but it is a 125 so is good for 60mph. You didn't happen to notice if the right wing mirror was missing by any chance?

I should probably note that it was stolen from the Golborne area too. This is very promising, and I have let my lookouts know.

theres some cheeky barstewards around, must have been there a wee bit to cut through one of those, you can't beat a good disc lock, i bought a big 6" long dayglo orange one for the bike i currently have, i had a small one for me last bike, it can be embarrassing setting off after you've forgotten to take it off, the old bike went on it's side quite a few times

The Scooter that overtook us definitely was a 125cc judging by the speed but I couldnt tell you if it had the mirror missing. My girlfriend likes bikes so she would more than likely have noticed so I will ask her later when I see her (It was dark but I did notice that it had markings on the side as it did nearly hit the side of my car on the way past). It had L plates on thats one thing for certain. Thats why I was shocked at the speed (overtook me on the 40 part of the road and I dont speed).

Where the markings red? And did the rear L plate look a little tatty at the bottom? Certainly sounds like what i'm looking for. I have passed this on the Police, thanks mate!

Exactly. Like I said i've passed this on to the police now. Put a claim in with the insurance as well, so gotta hear back from that. Thanks for your help on that mate, at least I know it's still in the are.

I know someone who had one stolen from Golborne about 6 months ago, they're quite common in the area, had it burnt out unfortunately. Apparently some young lads but couldn't prove it, had seem them eyeing it up for weeks and then caught them in back yard near scooter, weeks later it was gone. from memory they were from derby road. I'll do some digging for you.
