Trouble is most of the youngsters who are ready for SL level or close to are forwards. Only Sam T and Ainscough are ready to play at that level in the backs. Only other option is Karl Pryce.

erm i think if you read the sentence under the listed players you will see the phrase 5 HOME GROWN PLAYERS not 5 english players.

The discussion was regarding overseas "talent" in the Wigan team, I merely pointed out that your academy products are not being picked for England and are representing other nations.

Oh so now that we are actually keeping hold of our youngsters and they are making a success of themselves on the international scene, the gripe that people are holding against us now is that a handful of the youngsters arent playing for England
