agree, it happened years ago, was investigated then and is now been brought back up for (it seems) the sake of it. quite a strange situation

also why is the Chief not o it anymore?. he was my hero when i were a lad. still have a pair of his endorsed sholder pads round me mums. bloody massive they were. i looked like the "refrigerator" when i had them on, not a bad look for a 14 year old!

iv actually just watched the show they played in oz call four corners (the aussie panorama) it was about how aussie players get involved in these sex scandals ie premiership footballers and it shows how some of these high profile stats think they are untouchable.

the matty johns incident was from a few years ago 2002 i think where he and a few other had group sex with a woman they said she agreed to it she said she only agreed to one but her version of events is that matty johns was there from start to finish so can see why channel 9 has took the action to stand him down for the time being as for the future of the footy show i always thought this year would be its last anyway

seems to be fashionable to throw any kind of dirt on rugby league players in australia now. can't believe this has been dug up from 2002.
when i was there in 2003 afl players were getting a bit of stick, now it's the rugby players turn.
the show was absolute quality, but after watching an episide earlier in the season i was surprised and disappointed by the craap i saw.

The show seems a bit bland with Matty , Fatty and Vossy and seems to run as smooth as a welders bench. Its quite clear Matty and Fatty can't stand Vossy because he spouts so much cack its unreal.

Bring back the Falcon, he is ace and really good TV.

It's looking tired anyhow, but if he goes then it must be the end

No surprises to see Keiths girlfriend in the mix suggesting she's been raped by a top NRL star. That girl will stop at nothing to get publicity, she must be messed up in the head.

you gotta feel for this bloke, i know its wrong what he did, but the guy is heartbroke and its ruined his carrear for a long time now, i just hope justice comes to matty but as the footy show said the girls have alot of imput in what the lads did

Tough watch tonight, Gould was emotional and all of the crowd were silent throughout the Voss and Vautin dialogues.

the show is quality, only wish we had something of an equal quality in the UK. Fatty as the presenter with matty for the cheeky comedy with vossy playin it striaght works very well.
Matty did what many players and young men have been doing many times before, but to keep him on the show is too risky for the network, he had to part ways with c9.

However I do not see the good in bringin this matter up 7yrs on when the matters been dealt with. Is the women involved lookin for something more out of it? If so her motives need to be questioned. Secondly, there were other players involved that night they shouldn't let matty take the fall alone.
