Reading the details of the incident, it seems all Pryce has done (apart from go to the flat) is push a man over who came towards him with a rounders bat.

The corrupt part of it all was that the charges of using violence to gain entry where dropped due to insufficient evidence despite being arrested for kicking the door in. Had they been found guilty of this then it is a mandatory custodial sentence.

Aside from arbitrary demands for drachonian justice, I wonder if Karl Pryce was asked to go along to the incident but chose to stay at home, lie on his back and eat a right big bag of crisps.

Whilst not wishing to upset hysterical over-reactionaries by condoning any aspect of domestic violence, I would welcome Karl being brought up on a charge of this nature. It would at least show that he has some form of motivation to do anything whatsoever.
