Even if Wire were to turn out a full strength side, there'd be no excuse for Wigan not to win comfortably. They should be more motivated tonight than they've ever been. Having said that, they should have been motivated last weekend.

Why do people keep mentioning revenge?

We all do, but it's gone. The best we can hope for now is a decent finish in the league, in which case tonight's match matters.

If Wigan don't use last weekend as something to goad them, then there's something wrong with them.

I just hope they don't have the same attitude as they did against half strength wakey 1st game of the season.

I've not got too much interest TBH. CC was our only realistic chance of silverware and - just like against Catalan - we failed to perform. I'm now questioning myself as to next season bearing in mind flannel from IL re signings, no news on a new coach, dire start to the season, other things I could do at weekends, etc.

It looks like we'll be picking and choosing matches next year as opposed to pre-booking the table of 10 we have had for a few seasons now....

As a wire fan i will be approaching this game with very little optimism looking at the team we will be putting out. I am going just for the atmosphere and to sit there with a cheeky grin for the full 80.

I don't actually mind Briers that much, let him enjoy his day out to Wemberly. After all, he's still looking forward to that first Great Britian Lions Performance, and his first England performance.
