Pretty much spot on IMO.

Leeds did hav Wigan on the ropes in the second half, Leeds did do well to come back from 16-0 and it was pretty tight game that could have gone either way.

Someone does need to have a word with Tomkins to cut that sort of stuff out and I've no doubt maguire will have a quite little word.

Where did I say Leeds deserved to win?

I said Leeds was the better team in the second half and it was a tight game that could have gone either way.

You said you agreed with the article in which Big Fat Gary Schofield implies Leeds should have won.

Wigan were uncharacteristically shaky for much of the game. They looked very nervous before the kick-off - you could tell from their faces when they were warming up down at our end.

But they still won - which is always a good sign when you're not playing well - and the scoreline was not misrepresentative.

It's hardly Wigan's fault if Leeds can't defend near their own line. With Wigan two props down and Lockers hurt as well, I'd have thought Leeds would actually have made a better fist of that second half than they did.

Where does he say that.

He says in his article that wigan just did enough to win and he felt even tho Leeds was on top Wigan could turn the tap back on when they needed which they did.

If you look at my posts yesterday you'll see ibesid that Leeds was the betts sure side second half but IMO Wigan just shaded it over the 80 mins.

He said the article titled "Leeds were robbed of Cup Glory" was spot on. Are you able to grasp the concept that being 'robbed of cup glory' implies Leeds should have won?

That's fair enough if that's your opinion but if that is the case then i don't think you can really agree with that article.

I don't know where all the s are getting this "leeds were better in the 2nd half" nonsense from? As I recall wigan won that half 12 - 8, they were by far the better tackling side, better attacking side and thats plain to see.
Yes it was a nervous last 15 mins, but its a cup final and thats whats supposed to happen when 2 top sides meet at wembley. If, buts and maybes don't win finals, skill, guts and a strong work ethic does.
After beating, the dire the stains and the cheats, wigan should be given more respect.

Maybe referring to Danny McGuire's tackling of George Carmont without the ball to ensure that Pat Richards could not offload to him, resulting in Wigan losing the playoff game last year, which of course led to Danny McGuire's unfortunate injury.

That was pure professional foul behaviour which can only be interpreted as cheating.
