Does anyone know whether food and drinks can be taken into Murrayfield? Went to Cardiff two years ago and bags were searched and all food and drinks were confiscated. Had to hide my stuff in my pockets !

Q: Can I take my drink to my seat?
A: Yes
Q: Will there be a beer tent on the back pitches?
A: No. There is no beer tent for these matches as the stadium is licensed and development work is underway on the back pitches.

We're driving up on the day. May use that park and ride thing i read about.
Anybody any ideas if theres any pubs/bars near the stadium or would it be worth parking up in the centre for abit before we get to the stadium?
Didn't get chance to pay much attention when we went in 2002 because the coach only arrived 45 minutes before kick off. |

It'll only take about 1/2 an hour to walk to the ground from Weatherspoons, its less than 2 mile away. With pubs lining the way all along Haymarket. |

Not wrong there with the farce or good day points! Pretty sure we didn't even pick up any Wigan fans in York either! Hit the road that day from JJB, went the long way to the Motorway, stopped in York, set off to Edinburgh, didn't hit any delays until the city and we still only got to the car park with 45 minutes to spare. Could have been trouble had we been delayed, that's for sure! |

If it is we'll proabably leave the car there and walk it down then.

We picked about 5 people up in York iirc which made it even worse!
If they'd have asked us all on the coach we'd have probably chipped in for a taxi for them to save us the hassle
I rememeber there being about 4 or 5 coaches leaving from the same firm and we were the coach that drew the short straw of picking up the Yorkies! |
