This is the bottom line, plenty of people are willing to criticise the RFL and point out their failings, but few are willing to offer viable alternatives. There is also the issue that some of the aspects they are most heavily criticised for, such as the changes to the academy set up and the salary cap not increasing, have actually been voted for by the clubs so the criticisms cannot lie solely with the RFL.
Changes do need to be made in how our game is run, at every level, and that has been pretty obvious for some time now, but its not going to happen off the back of a few wishy washy petitions with no real substance to them.
