UPDATE 29/05/12 Al Jazeera's two 'French' pay TV sports channels' (I have told you before about these channels, scroll down!) subscription cost will be €11 per month, 'beIn Sport 1' and 'beIN Sport 2' will broadcast from the Astra satellite at 19 degrees east (beIn Sport 1 and 2 are now active and currently showing test programming on 11.538 V, SR 22.000, FEC 5/6), the Eutelsat Hotbird satellite at 13 degrees east and also from the Eutelsat 5 West A (formerly called Atlantic Bird 3) satellite at 5 degrees west, it will be available on the 'CanalSat', TNTSat', 'BIS' and 'Orange' satellite platforms, 'beIn Sport 1' will begin on the 1st of June, 'beIN Sport 2' will begin on 28th of July, initially at launch 'beIN Sport' will be free to air up until 1800 UK time, obviously to attract subscribers to this new package.
Does this mean its FTA to anybody who can receive 19 degrees east? If so alot of pubs may be able to show this?
