Theres no saying we can attract Dureau, if we cant id be happy go with Mellor than throw money at half hearted signing who may or may not work out. Russell looks far away from ready for first team full back so playing Sam in the halves is not an option IMO.

Disagree with this completely. I think he's massively overrated and it would be a massive step down to replace Welham with Carmont, not to mention they play on opposite sides.

Welham the best English centre? Not a chance.

I prefer kirk Yeamon to Wellham. He'd be a decent signing. Very strong and his defence is good. I'd leave Sam at FB and spend on a scrum half. Soward or Dureau and if not one of those I think Dobson is a fair shout!

Goulding, Bridge, Yeaman, Watkins, Hardaker, Atkins all better English centres than Welham and that's just off the top of my head.

Going forward Welham is fairly impressive.

In defence he is shocking, would rather we stick with what we have than bring a player like him in for the sake of it.
