| Any aussie team on the ropes, whatever sport, is a very dangerous beast... As Ian Wooldridge once wrote, "When you play the Aussies, you don't stand on ceremony, you stand on their necks"

| We need to be much much more clinical converting possession in to points than what we were on Saturday. We have a very good chance though.

| Of course that's what he says - if you've been beaten that well you want to be able to say you were beaten by the eventual winners. I think it'll be close at the weekend sadly. If we can pull away a bit then maybe, like most top teams Australia aren't good at coming back when they're behind by a few. If it's even though they'll dominate the last 20 minutes.
Eek!

| I've seen a number of three-match Test series where we've closely lost the first game and won the second (or vice versa), and then been absolutely butchered in the final.
The Aussies seem to have that ability to really step it up for the one that matters.
This is what we need to do next weekend. Be miles better than we were against the Kiwis. This is where the much maligned England coaching staff will really be tested. They have to get our lads to absolute peak peformance. Easier said than done of course. But if they can manage it, I fancy us.

| I hate to say it, as I normally stay positive when it comes to our national side, but I can't see us getting within 30 points of Australia next week.
