You could see he was savouring every moment walking through the Wigan fans, I shouted "Are we going to do it Ian", which he replied "Without a doubt" with a raised fist. The guy was on cloud nine you could tell...!

You can tell he much prefers to be with the fans when he could have been 'hob-nobbing' prematch with the sponsors, dignataries and other hangers-on.
