Quote="markyp3172"George Riley on 5 live had a rant this morning - says he spoke to the referee after the game with regards the No Trys and for one of them -did not say which- the in goal judge said the try was good but the touch judge who was further away was not sure so that is why it was not given.
If this is the case it raises the following questions
If a ref is unsure who does he take advice from?
Who takes priority with regards the decision -Touch judge or in goal judge?
This is a =#BFBFFFgrey area that needs to be looked at
Seems a bit comical that someone who was upto 40yrds away can say no try when an ingoal judge who was upto 20yrds away says good try.
The only way around it is to have Video refs at all games.

I could see the in goal one say to the ref I think thats a try yes! He ran off to touch judge and didnt give it! Very strange!
