This was my point, about 2months ago...

I believe we'll go for one of the two

1. One/ Two Props + 2nd Row - One prop if Coley signs a new deal, and 2nd Row the likes of Tickle/Wild/Ellis.

Or 2. One Prop and FB - N. Cayless/C. Webb with S. Briscoe or someone like C. Greenshields.

The only 6/7 I'd have out of all the ones available, would be Darren Lockyer, if he was to could tho, we'd have to sign a new sencond row to help protect him in defence, the likes of Mossop and Farrell, won't be up to that job.

I think three of those five will definitely be at Wigan next season.


Fielden will still be here, not sure about Eamonn.

So three out of this five;

Coley
Feka
Webb
Prescott

I still think we need Carl Webb to give us that little bit of a fear factor

To let Coley go and sign nobody would be suicide!

We're bad enough with him let alone without.

Coley to stay as starting prop, a new prop to come in and start alongside him, Feka on the bench with Prescott, O'Carroll and Fielden to fight it out for the last place most weeks with the odd ocassion us playing 5 props against the likes of Catalans to counter their big pack meaning the 3 would fight for 2 spots.

People who think Fielden isn't going to be in our 17 are seriously deluded.

Well I am amazed and don't believe for a second Warrington and Saints are in for him.

I will still watch the club out of pure devotion and love for Wigan RL. But I will be bitterly disappointed that the couple of signings we are away from making us a great side again have not been made and will not be looking forward to seeing the same average players again.
