I think it's simple with Fielden, he's just not as good as he once was. He was awesome for Bradford for several seasons, along with 3 other massive props, before we signed him and he was very good when we first bought him. Now he's a good Super League player who can still turn in the odd great game, but in my eyes is still a very valuable member of the team.
I know the price tag brings the expectation that he'll batter teams every match and I get as frustrated with his performances as everyone else. I do agree with him though that he's getting back to form. I thought he came across as realistic & honest and not taking it all too seriously with those questions.
